The Notification is Prevention Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that provides reliable information to the public about the dangers of sexual predators. In partnership with Watch Systems, LLC, we help state and local governments set up effective sex offender registration, verification, and notification programs to support sex offender registration and notification laws.

We promote legislation and programs that provide active notification via email and direct mail, not just a web site or newspaper advertisement. We support law enforcement by providing email and direct mail notification services. We believe that the best way to control future offenses by sex offenders is good community awareness and that such awareness is best provided by local law enforcement.

The Notification is Prevention Foundation (NIPF) was founded in response to requests for assistance by law enforcement agencies who wanted to provide active direct mail notification. NIPF helps state and local law enforcement and parole officers in establishing sex offender registration, verification, and automatic notification programs.

NIPF's goal is to provide accurate information to the public on the dangers of sexual predators, and to further build community awareness at local levels to support and reinforce the efforts of local registries and the implementation of an effective community notification program. We believe that the more a community is aware of what the dangers are, the more used and interactive a community notification program will be.

Sex Offender Registration and Verification
In partnership with Watch Systems, LLC NIPF provides proven processes, tools, and training to law enforcement establishing or improving state and county sex offender registration and notification programs.

Sex Offender Notification
NIPF provides low-cost direct mail notification of offenders for law enforcement and parole officers.

Legislation
The NIPF is actively involved in crafting state and federal legislation to support effective implementation of Megan’s Law with active community notification.
